A post failed
Find why a post did not go out, what the common messages mean, and how to try again.
Find the reason
Open the post from the calendar or from the channel's screen, then open Post details. Every channel of the post has its own status. A channel that failed shows the reason the network gave and how many attempts eksis made. Posts in List view gathers failed posts in one place.
A post is Failed when every channel failed, and Partly published when some channels went out and the rest failed or are on hold. When a channel fails for good, eksis notifies the person who created the post, in the app and by email.
When eksis retries by itself
Messages that end with "We will retry automatically" mean the network is having trouble or is slowing eksis down. eksis makes up to 4 attempts, waiting about 1 minute, then 5, then 15. If the last one fails, the channel is marked failed.
Permanent problems, such as a file the network refuses or a missing permission, fail at once without retries.

A post to X can show On hold: the workspace ran out of X credits. Owners and admins get a notification, and the post goes out by itself once credits are added on Settings, Plan and billing.
Try again
Select the failed channel
In Post details, select the channel that failed.
Choose Try again
Only channels that failed can be retried. A post that is waiting for approval has to be approved first.
If the post failed on every channel, you can also edit it and schedule it again.
Still stuck
Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Help & support, then Contact support. Pick the channel in the form and say when the post should have gone out. You can also write to support@eksis.io.
