Connect a Pinterest account and publish Pins to its boards.
A connected Pinterest account can publish image, carousel, and video Pins to its public boards.
Before you start
- eksis pins to a public board. If the account has none, create a board on Pinterest first.
Connect
Open the dialog
Select + next to Channels in the sidebar, then choose Pinterest.
Sign in and approve
Log in to Pinterest and approve every permission.
Pick the account
Tick the account on Pick the accounts to connect and choose Connect.
If it does not connect

| No accounts available to connect | Pinterest did not return a profile. Start again and approve every permission. |

Before you post
The Pinterest tab in the composer asks for:
- Board: required. eksis reads the account's boards when you open the tab. "No public boards on this account yet" means you need to create one on Pinterest, then reopen the composer.
- Pin title, Destination link, and Alt text: optional.
Good to know
- The Pinterest API has no endpoints for comments or messages, so Pins have no inbox and no first comment. The destination link takes the place a first comment would have had.
- On Free, eksis publishes up to 100 Pins per account in any 24 hours.
