Connect your LinkedIn member profile.
A connected LinkedIn profile can publish text, photo, and video posts.
Before you start
- eksis posts to your own member profile. Company Pages cannot be connected yet: they need LinkedIn to approve eksis for its Community Management API.
Connect
Open the dialog
Select + next to Channels in the sidebar, then choose LinkedIn.
Sign in and approve
Log in to LinkedIn and approve the permission to post on your behalf.
Pick the profile
Tick your profile on Pick the accounts to connect and choose Connect.
If it does not connect
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| LinkedIn did not return a profile | Try connecting again. |
| No accounts available to connect | Start again and approve the permission to post on your behalf. |
| Permission denied | Start again and approve every permission. |
Good to know
- Several photos can go out as one swipeable PDF document: tick Post the photos as a PDF document in the composer and give it a Document title.
- Comments, post statistics, and a first comment need the Community Management API, which LinkedIn approves case by case. Until then, LinkedIn posts do not show comments in the inbox or numbers in Analytics.
- LinkedIn refuses a post that repeats a recent one. Change the text a little and schedule it again.
- On Free, eksis publishes up to 50 posts per profile in any 24 hours.
- Media rules: LinkedIn specifications.
