TikTok publishes video and photo. Every post needs media, so there are no text-only posts. Media accepted: images and video. Comments are not available: TikTok has not opened its comments API to third-party apps. Direct messages are not available. Post metrics are available. First comments are not supported. eksis publishes at most 10 posts per account per rolling 24 hours.

A value of the wrong type, or outside the allowed values, is refused with 422 and the code validation.failed, drafts included. An unknown key is dropped and reported in data.warnings.

Daily limit
eksis publishes up to 10 posts per TikTok channel a day. A post over the limit is postponed, not failed.
Good to know
- privacy and the interaction settings must match what the creator allows right now. Read getTikTokCreatorInfo before posting.
- An account connected with upload permission only sends posts to the TikTok inbox as drafts for the creator to finish.
- PNG photos and photos larger than 1080p are converted to JPEG before upload.
- TikTok confirms publishing a few minutes later, so a target can turn published or failed after the call returns.
- A caption over the limit is cut. A photo post without a title uses the first line of the caption.
