Bluesky publishes text, photo and video. Text-only posts are allowed (text). Media accepted: images and video. Comments can be read, and you can reply, hide and like them. Direct messages are not available. Post metrics are available. A first comment can be posted right after publishing. eksis publishes at most 300 posts per account per rolling 24 hours.

- Images: up to 1.9 MB, aspect ratio 0.05:1 to 20:1, at least 320 px wide.
Video (video)
- Video: MP4, up to 286.1 MB, 0.1 s to 10 min long, aspect ratio 0.05:1 to 20:1.

A value of the wrong type, or outside the allowed values, is refused with 422 and the code validation.failed, drafts included. An unknown key is dropped and reported in data.warnings.

Daily limit
eksis publishes up to 300 posts per Bluesky channel a day. Bluesky itself allows 11,666 posts per account a day. A post over the limit is postponed, not failed.
Good to know
- Links, mentions, and hashtags become clickable. A mention that cannot be resolved stays plain text.
- replySettings and allowQuotes are applied right after the post exists. If that step fails, the post stays up without them.
