Grok Bot

Connect Grok Bot to an eksis workspace over MCP.

Authentication: OAuth sign-in

Server URL

https://api.eksis.io/mcp

Set it up

Grok Bot works from a cloud computer, so it reaches eksis over the internet and signs in with OAuth. Send your Bot the message below. Confirm the server when the Bot asks, then choose Authorize on the connect card it posts. eksis opens in your browser, where you pick the workspace and the permissions the Bot may use, and the eksis tools load once you approve. A server you add is available to every Bot on your account. In a chat, type @ and attach eksis to the task.

Configuration

Add a custom MCP server called eksis at https://api.eksis.io/mcp

Approving what the Bot does in eksis

Auto Review checks tool calls before they run. Under Settings, then General, then Auto-review, add an Ask first rule for the eksis tools that publish, schedule, reply, or delete: they act on a real social network, and some of it cannot be undone. Keep Allow automatically rules to tools that only read, which the tool list marks. An approval asked for by a routine or by another Bot expires after about ten minutes and the action does not run, so let the Bot schedule posts in eksis during a chat you are part of instead of publishing them from a routine. You approve once, and eksis publishes at the scheduled time.

Grok on grok.com

The Grok chat at grok.com connects to the same server as a custom connector. Open grok.com/connectors, choose New Connector, then Custom, paste the server URL, and finish the eksis sign-in. On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin provisions connectors before members can use them.

If it does not connect

Grok Bot reaches eksis from its cloud computer, not from your own machine, so it needs the public server URL above. If the tools do not appear after you authorize, open Settings, then Plugins, check that eksis is enabled, and attach it in the chat with @. If the Bot reached the wrong workspace, disconnect it on the API & MCP page of that workspace, then ask the Bot to authorize eksis again and pick the right one.

How the two ways of signing in differ, and what each permission allows, is on the MCP overview. The tool list shows what the assistant can ask eksis to do.
